Fees

Each session of hypnotherapy with Lawrie Shaw, costs £70

Your visit is likely to take about an hour and a half.

People sometimes imagine that hypnotherapy is going to cost them a small fortune, and this thought stops them even making a call to find out how hypnosis could help them.  For this reason alone, many people find that it is useful to know before even ringing up to enquire, how much it is likely to cost them for a session of hypnotherapy.

You may have at some stage in the past seen big adverts in newspapers, for things like stopping smoking or losing weight. often offering a meaningless guarantee of success (which no reputable hypnotherapist would do) and charging hundreds of pounds for a group session.   These sessions are often run by people who have bought into a franchise, and apart from reading the manual have little or no knowledge, training or experience in hypnotherapy.  They are usually here today and gone tomorrow.

The Yellow Pages, and the internet are these days full of adverts for hypnotherapy, from hypnotherapists with various degrees of training and experience.  Some have had extensive training and experience, others might have done a correspondence course, or a short weekend course, and have little or no experience.  The fees they charge does not necessarily give you a clue, as to their training or experience.  You would imagine that the person who charges the highest fees has the most to offer. This is sadly sometime far from the truth! Some hypnotherapists with little or no training or experience charge a lot more per session than many more qualified and experienced hypnotherapists.

I am neither the most expensive nor the cheepest hypnotherapist in the area. I have always believed in giving value for money, whilst still needing to earn a living.

Despite my extensive years of training, and experience, I still charge less than the average hypnotherapist in the north east, charges for an hour long session.
